Dr. Bennett joined Marin Urology in 1996 when he returned to Marin after completing his training at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Having been raised in San Rafael and attending Saint Ignatius College Preparatory in San Francisco, Dr. Bennett earned his BA degree at Harvard College where he graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors. He received his MD at University of California, San Francisco. He completed two years of general surgery training and his urology residency at Massachusetts General.
Dr. Bennett received Certification from the American Board of Urology in 1998. He is a member of the American Urologic Association and the American Medical Association. He is on the medical staffs of Marin General Hospital, Novato Community Hospital, and Kentfield Rehabilitation Hospital. Dr. Bennett also volunteers at the Marin Community Clinic and frequently performs surgery as a volunteer with Operation Access.
Dr. Bennett has pursued additional certification in laparoscopy, laser surgery, and surgery for urinary incontinence. He maintains an active practice of both office-based and in-patient surgical procedures.
